As a Machine Learning Engineer, you will be at the heart of our development team, developing deep learning models that enhance recommendations for pre-clinical studies. You will fully own the development of one of the components of our system, being responsible for developing a deep understanding of the data and the immunological processes, building deep learning models, evaluating it, and integrating it with our process.
What You’ll Do:
- Develop, test, and deploy sophisticated deep-learning models focusing on protein data.
- Investigate data to uncover patterns, formulate hypotheses, and conduct experiments to validate these ideas.
- Collaborate closely with fellow ML engineers (ranging in experience from Deepmind, Meta, Microsoft, NVIDIA & more) and developers to integrate your solutions into our comprehensive platform.
- Keep on top of scientific literature to understand challenges and discover existing methodologies.
- Write manuscripts and various documents to share insights and results both within and outside the company.
Who You Are:
- An experienced deep learning engineer ready to manage the full model development lifecycle- from initial data exploration and problem definition to deploying the final model. (2-3+ years of experience)
- An analytical scientist with a robust grasp of model validation techniques.
- A proactive developer with a "test-first" mindset and excellent Python programming skills.
- A critical thinker who evaluates both methodologies and data critically.
- A fast-moving hacker who can prototype ideas swiftly.
- A lifelong learner open to new methods and approaches.
- An outstanding communicator with good written and verbal skills, with English at C1+ level
What You Should Have:
- Proven experience in developing deep learning models, ideally encompassing both academic and industry settings.
- Strong foundation in the principles of deep learning, mathematics, and statistics.
- Interest in biology or medicine (no prior expertise required).
